horseman
05/2024
with around 140 semiwild tushetian mountain horses, soso lives from october until may in his winter lager next to the vashlovanu nationalpark where he has built a guest house, in the middle of nowhere.

he carries on with the proud tradition of the tushs, that live as (semi-) nomads, happily sharing it with his family and guests.

in the  absence of you
ongoing

the series in the absence of you looks at the aftermath of a toxic relationship, marked by cheating, gaslighting, and feeling like you’re never enough. it moves through the mess of heartbreak, loneliness, confusion, and the long, slow process of putting yourself back together.

the images show moments, places, and details that carry emotion, memories, signs, connections, and all the in-between bits. ideas around womanhood, loss, self-worth, and the need for closeness run through the work. new encounters pop up too, not as answers, but as part of the chaos and healing.

in the absence of you is about what’s left behind, what still lingers, and what it takes to feel like yourself again.

between our all university life
2024-2025
this photo documentation follows laurie, a film student from manchester, during his semester abroad in utrecht, the netherlands.

amid a simple daily life of writing, cooking, and watching films, it becomes clear how deeply political decisions like brexit impact personal realities.
without erasmus+ funding, without a work permit, and facing high living costs and bureaucratic obstacles, laurie represents many young british people who seek european exchange but find themselves increasingly held back.

the reportage tells a story of friendship, creative self-discovery, and the quiet consequences of a europe that is closing itself off.
